What is GRC (Gunma Robotics Club)?

In recent years, schools have been reconsidering the nature of club activities. In light of various factors such as work style reform and the diversity of student values, there is a movement to have club activities in the future not be limited to the school but to collaborate with the local community and private sector.

Robotics Club (commonly known as Robo-bu) is a non-profit organization that was established in 2017 and is mainly for elementary and junior high school students. It is supported by IT company managers and volunteer university students from Gunma Prefecture and is intended to be a substitute for club activities for students who want to deepen their studies in science.

The group's main activities are to promote robot programming, host, participate in and win prizes at Robocon competitions, and have competed in international competitions, including one of the world's largest Robocon competitions, for three consecutive years.
